Tributary Color of the Month yarn
The limited edition Tributary Yarns color of the month for August is here. It is called Morris Graves. This color was not surprisingly inspired by the well-known painter Morris Graves. He lived in Humboldt County at the end of his life and locals know that we have a museum named after him. This color was inspired by a painting on the cover of the book, Morris Graves Flower Paintings. It is a subtle blend of warm reddish purple, taupe, dark pink and bluish purple. We have two options for this color our Stream Sock base or the River Silk and Merino base.
- Stream Sock base is 85% Superwash Merino and 15% nylon.
- Each 100 gram skein has 394 yards (360 meters).
- The gauge is 28 stitches equals 4 inches on size US 1-3 needles.
- River Silk is 70% Superwash Merino and 30% silk
- Each 3.5 oz. skein has 438 yards (400 meters)
- The gauge is 28 stitches equals 4 inches on size US 3-5 needles
