Join us on Saturday, August 8 from 2-4 pm for this free event to celebrate the birthday of the grandmother of modern knitting (we're celebrating a day early). Elizabeth Zimmermann didn’t just teach people how to knit. She changed the way knitters thought about knitting. Through her books, TV show, newsletters, designs, and teaching, she encouraged knitters to experiment, understand the “why” behind their stitches, and embrace their own creativity.
