The limited edition Tributary Yarns color of the month for June is here. It is called "Squares Dancing". This color was inspired by the work of our friend and incredible local weaver, Nancy Kennedy. Nancy primarily weaves large scale rugs. Her designs are geometric and modern. For our color inspiration we used a rug that we have hanging in the store. This color is a blend of warm and cool gray tones with subtle speckles of turquoise, orange and lime. We have two options for this color our Stream Sock base or the River Silk and Merino base.
- Stream Sock base is 85% Superwash Merino and 15% nylon.
- Each 100 gram skein has 394 yards (360 meters).
- The gauge is 28 stitches equals 4 inches on size US 1-3 needles.
- River Silk is 70% Superwash Merino and 30% silk
- Each 3.5 oz. skein has 438 yards (400 meters)
- The gauge is 28 stitches equals 4 inches on size US 3-5 needles
