If you need a really good basic, washable wool, Ultra Wool from Berroco is a great option. It is soft and comes in pretty colors. Perfect for just about anything!

I love this yarn!! It has a wonderful elasticity and is washable which is great for the fingerless gloves I have been knitting with it in fact I love the purple so much I'm making another pair for myself after I finish my niece's
