Need some ideas? We've got them!

I love January. It feels like we get to have a fresh start. It also puts me in the mood to cast on a new project. Especially if you did a lot of holiday gift making, you might feel like starting something for yourself. Or maybe you are vowing to start holiday gifts early this year. Either way, I have some ideas for you!

These Sailor Slippers from Annie Germain are super fun and would be a quick project. I love that you can stripe them or use a solid with a contrasting color for the cuff. They're just so cute! These slippers are perfect for Lamb's Pride Bulky. You'll only need 2 skeins for most sizes and 3 skeins for the largest sizes. Perfect for mixing and matching colors. The pattern is available in the store or on Ravelry.

Crocheters - there is a pattern for you that is almost identical to the Sailor Slippers! This one is called Wool Felted Slippers by Isabel. I'm recommending Germantown for this pattern. The pattern is free on Ravelry.

I absolutely love this Rideau Cowl from Fiona Ellis. This looks like the most relaxing and fun knit. It's just a big, garter stitch loop that you can wear long or wrapped around twice. The stripe sequence is so cheerful! I'm recommending Camper from Kelbourne Woolens for this scarf. One skein each of 4 colors will be perfect for it. We have a lot of colors in stock, so you can mix and match to find the perfect color combo. The pattern is available in the store or on Ravelry.

I saw someone recently share a photo of themselves in this Oversized Vest from the Noro Design Team and I had to immediately go find the pattern. You could wear this vest so many different ways. It would be great over a dress or with a pair of barrel leg pants. I just love it. The pattern calls for Noro Silk Garden and we recently received a shipment with a bunch of colors. Let me know what you think of this pattern! The pattern is available in the store and on Ravelry.

For anyone looking for a challenge, I have to share this Kaleidoscope Sweater by Elenor Mortensen. Isn't it gorgeous?! The all-over colorwork design is just stunning. It's worked top-down and in one piece in a fingering weight yarn. I'm going to recommend Camper from Kelbourne Woolens again for this sweater. I hope someone reading this will take on this challenge! The pattern is available in the store and on Ravelry.

Let me know if you want help picking out yarn or colors for any of these projects!
